What is an Inbound Marketing Strategy?Let us help teach you the techniques for drawing customers to your products and services.
What is Inbound Marketing?
Inbound marketing is a technique that provides information, an improved customer experience, and builds trust by offering your potential customers information they value. This, in turn, helps bring more clients and customers to you.
Compared with outbound marketing, inbound reverses the relationship between company and customer. In fact, while outbound marketing is going to push the product through various channels, inbound marketing creates awareness, attracts, and helps new customers reach out directly to you.
The Inbound Methodology.
To work well, inbound marketing has a precise process that provides your business with the ability to attract clients and customers through thought out content and ads. This process is composed of four main steps: Attract, Convert, Close, and Delight. These steps are used in sequence to obtain more visitors on sites, to speed up conversions, and finally increase the number of leads and prospects for your business that results in sales.
Attract refers to the method of attracting the right person that is most likely to be interested in your services. We do this by first creating a “Buyer Persona” that allows us to know the type of clients that are interested in your company. A buyer persona acts as a client identifier for your business. Only after this step are we able to access the proper channels to reach this prospective buyer.
After attracting a new customer to your website, we will engage with them by giving them information about what we do or something that will interest the prospective buyer. i.e, if you are a music studio this could be a free trial lesson in exchange for an email or some other contact information.
It’s now time to close the deal. Once a prospective buyer has interacted with your business its time to close the sale. We do this by encouraging clients with more content and call to actions. At Digital Mermaid, we have a list of techniques to help your company close the deal and proper ways to engage with your new customers
After attracting a fan, converting them into a prospect, and closing the deal in the form of a purchase, the delight stage helps your company continue to keep contact with old customers to help create brand ambassadors.
